Devon Shackleford received a little but of justice recently with the conviction of his murder Derek Chappell. The man from Mesa received the death sentence for the murder of Devon Shackleford in 2004.

Devon Shackleford was a 2 year old little boy when he was murdered. The murder was very gruesome, Derek Chappell took the boy from his ex-girlfriends home and then took him to a swimming pool. He held the little boy under the water, while he struggled for air. After the boy stopped moving Derek Chappell just left the little boy face down in the swimming pool and walked away.

Devon Shackleford can not be brought back to life, but this may detour someone else who considered committing murder from doing so. The little boy was not even old enough to defend himself or old enough to have experienced much in life. Justice was served on Derek Chappell, but this story is still really sad.
