Hokies thank the world at HokiesThankTheWorld.org. Today the Virginia Tech Hokies said thank you to everyone that provided support after the April 16th school shootings.

Hokies thank the world took place this morning at the Drillfield. An estimated 5,000 people showed up to show there support and to give back and show their gratitude.

There was a fair amount of media coverage for the event and it was even reported that a satellite image was taken with all the people standing there.
