Leonid Meteor Shower 2007 is going to peak this weekend on Saturday. The Leonid Meteor Shower has been something to watch for with several meteors falling an hour.

News sources report that “There will be pretty much normal shower activity, 20 per hour at most,” said Bill Cooke, head of NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office in Alabama. The meteors come from the Tempel-Tuttle comet which comes through our solar system approx. 33 year intervals .

The best time to watch for the shower is approx. 11 PM EST. This will be the moment when the earth is passing the orbit to get your chance to view the Leonid Meteor Shower this year.
