Megan Meier Tragedy

Megan Meier tragedy has been a huge story over the last few days. Megan Meier, age 13, committed suicide a year ago after a cruel joke was played on her.

Megan Meier apparently found a boy through the popular website Myspace. The boy’s name was Josh, but we have learned recently that Josh was made up. Josh started making insulting comments after weeks of being kind to Megan. Josh turned out to be a made up person, made up by others including an adult woman to play a trick on Megan. It is said that the fiction Josh was made up to get back at Megan Meier due to a falling out of another friend of hers.

The names of the involved party were not released at first which is the cause of much of the buzz around the story. Megan’s parents are now trying to see if there are any legal actions they can take. Allegedly the FBI has said that they have found no crime yet to charge the adult involved.
