OneLaptopPerChild program is made to help children in developing countries. When you buy through a XO Laptop through the One Laptop Per Child Program they end up sending one to a child in need. The project is making some breaking news.
The project is to help educate children and provide for them a basic tool to helping that process. The XO Laptop comes with a 7.5 TFT screen, camera, and WiFi capabilities. The laptop will be based off of the Linux OS.
The OneLaptopPerChild (also OLPC) was started by Nicholas Negroponte, an MIT professor.
