Jeanne Assam was the armed security guard that protected others from the man that just earlier killed people at the YWAM facility in Arvada, CO. Assam heard gun shots at the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, shortly after that the door opened with an armed man standing in front of her.

Assam shot and killed the heavily armed shooter, Matthew Murray, 24 years old. Murray had earlier killed two and injured two at the Youth With A Mission. It was reported that Murray had an assault rifle with approx a thousand rounds.

Jeanne Assam gives credit to the Holy Spirit helping her through the event. There were two people that were killed before Murray was shot and killed. It is safe to say that Assam kept many others from getting injured or losing there lives in the attack. Check back for more breaking news on the story.
