BlackBerry outage today causes headaches for customers. The critical outage caused large amount of problems for North American market. Verizon Wireless reported that customers were able to make phone calls but could not email with their BlackBerrys.
Not only did the BlackBerry outage today affect the business world but also the political world. With many Presidential Primaries coming up, many campaigns rely on these devices. There is currently not a specific reason that caused the large outage. The outage seemed to end later in the afternoon and early evening for most people.
The last time BlackBerry outage affected customers was back in the Spring of 2007. BlackBerry devices have become more popular with people wanting to use such features as email on their mobile device. We’ll post if there are any more breaking news details on this issue.
