Gregg William Bergersen held on spy charges? The United States has arrested four people today on charges that they were spying on the U.S. for China. Of the four individuals one of them is Mr. Bergersen from Alexandria, Virginia who was a Department of Defense employee.

Gregg William Bergersen has been arrested for allegedly providing classified US defense information to a Chinese official. This is bad news for our country as now investigators are going to have to determine what China knows and if they have passed that information on to anyone else. The other three people arrested today are Tai Shen Kuo and Yu Xin Kang from New Orleans and Kongfan Greg Chung, who was a Boeing engineer.

The department of defense employee has been specifically charged with disclosing national defense information to an unauthorized person which has a sentence of 10 years if convicted. We will continue to follow this story and provide any breaking news updates that we hear.
