Appalachian State Gunman Report

There was a lock down on the campus of Appalachian State due to a gunman report. The lock down was for about an hour and authorities lifted the lock down at about 6:30 pm. As of now there does not seem to be any threat.

The Appalachian State Gunman was a white male that reportedly had a small hand gun. There were no shots fired or any injuries that have been announced. The University seemed to respond quickly online and alert the students of the possible threat.

Appalachian State Gunman ended with no conflict. Many campuses have been issuing emergency message services after recent shootings at schools like Virginia Tech and Northern Illinois. Check back for more breaking news on stories around the United States.
