Mothman sightings still reported in West Virginia. After the movie, The Mothman Prophecies, was released back in 2002 starring Richard Gere many were made aware of the bizarre events leading up to a bridge collapsing that killed 46 people.
The Silver Bridge that collapsed was preceded by many Mothman sightings. The sightings were mostly reported in the Point Pleasant and Charleston areas of West Virginia. People describe the Mothman as human like, about 7 to 8 feet tall, and with large wings.
With many shows on TV now like Monster Quest, many people are curious about myths like the Mothman. I’m not much of a believer myself but still interesting. Check back for more bizarre news and myths.

I’ve always had the DVD of The Mothman Prophecies, and just a few days ago, I got bored, so I decided to finally watch it.
In the beginning, it informed that the movie was based on true events, which totally intrested me.
I’ve been on the web trying to find out as much information, that was recent and TRUE, that I could.
Can you find me some links or introduce me to some individuals that can aid in my interests? lol.
I am also planning on making a trip to Point Pleasant, which isn’t very far, considering that I live in South Jersey.
Please get back to me.
kthxbye.
