Countrywide Loans FBI Investigation

It has been reported that Countrywide Loans are being investigated by FBI Investigation. It is stated by the AP that Countrywide Financial Corp. may be involved with fraud. Recently with the subprime mortgage crisis affecting many people, this could have caused some of the issues.
Countrywide loans FBI investigation has not been commented on by the FBI but there were reports that there is an ongoing investigation. Countrywide is one of the most popular and top home lenders in the United States. Bank of America is supposed to acquire Countrywide home loans later this year.
