The Spam King Robert Soloway facing over 25 years in jail. He may also have to face fines around $625,000. Soloway pled Guilty to the charges of tax evasion and mail fraud.
Robert Soloway was responsible for spamming millions of people. The actual sentencing will be done in June this year and he could end up getting 26 years in prison. In 2005 the Spam King made over $300,000.
I know that I hate getting Spam whether it be through email or a website and I’m glad that they are trying to crack down on this crime. Hopefully we can keep on top of these spammers and stop them. Thousands of people become victims of fraud and phishing all the time. Check back for breaking news on this trial and others.
