AP has news on the verdict for John Ritter trial. The jury found the cardiologist and radiologist innocent of negligence in the death of the actor. Ritter died back in September of 2003 due to a heart attack.

The jurors found came to the verdict for John Ritter Trial, 9 to 3. Amy Yasbeck and her children had filed the lawsuit against the two men saying that there was malpractice and failure to identify the problem two years prior to the actor’s death. The trial came to an end back on March 14, 2008.

Yasbeck said that regardless of the verdict for John Ritter Trial that it is helping bring to light that mistakes are made. She has started the John Ritter Foundation to help with making the public more aware of aortic disease.
