Going green and saving money is big now days, so breaking news on the all new Aptera Hybrid Car coming soon is getting a lot of buzz. Aptera Motors Inc. will be bringing out the two seated car for just around $30,000. They are receiving 1000 pre-orders on the vehicle.

This new Aptera car is in both Hybrid and Electric version. It is reported that the car can get up to 300 miles per gallon. Many cars like the Prius and Civic Hybrid have been a big hit for people trying to do there part for the environment.

Gas prices are at record highs now days so the Aptera Hybrid and Electric cars seem like a great buy. The current orders should be filled around 2009. We’ll see how they do and I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about them in the near future.

NBC Knight Rider Contest Tonight

Tonight there is a NBC Knight Rider Contest that gives people a chance to win Ford vehicles. The movie premiere of the new Knight Rider aired tonight at 7 pm PST on NBC. It is a remake of the hit TV series that starred David Hasselhoff.

The NBC Knight Rider Sweepstakes requires you to answer some questions about the new show. You must be 18 years of age as of 2/17/2008. You could end up winning a Ford Mustang Shelby GT, Ford Fusion, Ford Edge, or Ford Focus. After answering the questions you have to provide some general information about yourself.

Daytona 500 Starting Time Today

Many NASCAR fans are looking forward to the Daytona 500 starting time today. The race will kick off around 3:40 pm EST. Coverage of the race will be on FOX starting around 2 pm EST.

One of the most popular races for the sport, the Daytona 500, some predict that driver Jeff Gordon will win the race. Nothing is for certain though and anything could happen today during the race. It looks like it will be a nice day for the race. It is set to hit in the high 70’s or low 80’s in Florida.

The Daytona 500 is a 200 lap and 500 mile race. This year will be the celebration for the 50th year running the NASCAR race. Stay tuned for more breaking news and updates on racing.

Ford Recalls Truck SUV Van

Ford Recalls Truck SUV Van all included in the recall. It is estimated to be over 1 million Ford vehicles being recalled. The cause of the recall is a sensor located in the engine that could cause either stalling or the car to crash.

Ford plans to replace the recalled sensor. It is reported that there have been accidents that have been associated with this problem. Some of the vehicles included in the recall are ones that have a 3.7 diesel engine motor in them.

The Ford recall includes trucks, suvs, and vans manufactured between 1997 and 2003. This includes some Ford Excursions and F-450 trucks. Stay tuned for more recall breaking news and information.
