Tyler Hansbrough’s girlfriend Christy Wilson? It’s pretty crazy how curious people get about things that have nothing to do with them. There is a lot of buzz on the Internet about who his girlfriend is. There are reports stating that her name is Christy Wilson, but people don’t know much beyond that.

Christy Wilson is someone that he was apparently photographed with. It is crazy how worked up people get about this kind of stuff. In my opinion people just need to leave the guy alone and let him have a private personal life.

If Tyler Hansbrough is really dating Christy Wilson then good for him. Now lets get back to hearing about his basketball play and not his personal life. How does that sound to everyone?

Emmitt Smith Diamond Trash? What the heck is this all about. It seems as though Emmitt Smith has made some comments recently about is younger playing days when the Dallas Cowboys wern’t very good.

And the crazy thing is his comment included the words Emmitt Smith Diamond Trash.

It seems as though he was refering to how he felt back in those days. He was a really good player, but he was surrounded by a bunch of no goods. He claims that he was a diamond surrounded by trash. I suppose playing on the analogy a diamond in the rough.

The Emmitt Smith diamond trash comment is getting a lot of buzz today and its no wonder why. That is a pretty bold statement to make and Im sure the current Dallas Cowboys don’t want to be hearing stuff like that.

Heidi Watney Replacing Tina Cervasio

Reports coming from the Boston Herald saying that NESN is hiring Heidi Watney replacing Tina Cervasio. Tina Cervasio was the previous sideline reporter for the Boston Red Sox. Heidi Watney worked as a sports anchor in Fresno previously.

Heidi Watney replacing Tina Cervasio after Cevasio’s contract ended this past March. Cervasio will be taking a new job at MSG in New York. She previously had done work on everything from Animal Planet to NFL Sunday Ticket.

Matt Leinart Party Pictures? The Arizona Cardinals quarterback has got himself into some trouble. There are party pictures that have surfaced on the Internet showing the NFL superstar in a hot tub with four girls and also holding a beer bong while a girls sucks from it.

The Matt Leinart party pictures have disappointed the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. Apparently the two have discussed the situation and the coach hopes Matt Leinart realizes that he can’t be doing that type of stuff. Although the Matt Leinart party photos are not shedding a good light about him they could have been a lot worse.

Considering the types of photos that have been leaked on the Internet in regards to high profile people the Matt Leinart party pictures really are not bad at all. They could have been so much worse and could have caused a lot more trouble for the NFL player. If we hear any more news about the scandalous pictures we will provide an update.

News coming out that Jay Barker engaged to Sara Evans. Sara Evans is a country music star with album hits including Restless and Real Fine Place. Barker is a former QB for University of Alabama Crimson Tide.

Jay Barker engaged to Sara Evans come after Evans having a nasty divorce. She used to be married to Craig Schelske. The couple had three children together. Barker is currently hosting a sports talk radio show.

Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki Leg Injury

The San Antonio won against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday 88 to 81. Some bigger news is that Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki leg injury. Nowitzki took a hard fall during the 3rd Quarter of play.

It appeared that Nowitzki was in quite a bit of pain after the fall. Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki leg injury will most likely be re-evaluated tomorrow sometime. It is reported that it is a lower leg injury but as of now not sure how severe of an injury it is.

Until there is more information on Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki leg injury, fans and the team will wonder what the rest of the NBA season will look like. Nowitzki is one of the NBA’s star players. The 7-foot power forward averages 23.7 points a game and 8.8 rebounds.

New 2008 CBI Tournament

There is also the new 2008 CBI tournament going on this year. It was introduce back in 2007. Many think that it will compete against the NIT tournament.

The CBI (College Basketball Invitational) Tournament will include 16 teams that are not going to the NCAA tourney. The games will start on March 18th. Some of the teams that have accepted the invite to the CBI tournament are Brown, Virginia, and UTEP.

The 2008 CBI Tournament will be broadcast on the Fox Sports Net. March Madness is beginning and there will be a lot of great games in all three tournaments. Stay tuned for more breaking news on College sports.

NCAA Basketball Selection Show 2008

Today was a big day in Men’s basketball the NCAA Basketball Selection Show 2008 was on CBS today. With it came announcement of who will be playing who in the NCAA Tournament this March. The last few days have had many great conference playoff games.

This year’s NCAA Tournament bracket will feature the number 1 seeds Memphis, North Carolina, Kansas, and UCLA. After today many will be filling out their printable brackets and having office pools to see if you can guess the winners of each game.

Never Back Down Movie Released

Never Back Down movie released today. The movie follows a young man who gets involved in underground fighting. It stars Djimon Hounsou from the movie Blood Diamond.

It could end up being a popular movie being that mixed martial arts is becoming a very popular sport. More and more viewers are getting involved in MMA and UFC. Many people are looking for the Never Back Down soundtrack but it seems either it hasn’t been released or is very difficult to track down.

Never Back Down the movie is rated PG-13. It opened wide today March 14, 2008. The reviews so far haven’t been the best but that is if you care what critics think. Check back for more breaking news on new and upcoming movies.

Brett Favre Retires, is the retirement for real? It appears to be a true statement and not a rumor. Several major sports news websites are reporting that he will be retiring.

The Brett Favre Retires news comes as a shock to many because of the amazing season he had last year. The Green Bay Packers have wondered for the last few season whether is was going to retire or not and today the news comes out that the retirement will actually happen.
