Guitar Hero On Tour Coming To DS

The hit video game franchise newest addition Guitar Hero on Tour coming to DS. The Nintendo DS is a handheld gaming system with dual screens. Both Guitaro Hero II and Guitar Hero III were big hits on the XBOX 360.

IGN has news that Activision announced that there will be a peripheral device that plugs into the Gameboy Advance Port. Guitar Hero On Tour coming to DS will be a completely different feel then before on the console systems such as Playstation 2 and 360.

The rating for the new video game will be E10. Guitar Hero On Tour coming to DS will be on June 29, 2008.

Nickelodeon’s NickArcade.com Gaming site has a bunch of free games that you can try for free and buy online. The website has games featuring many of Nickelodeon’s favorite cartoons, including SpongeBob Squarepants, Avatar, and Jimmy Neutron.

Nick’s cartoon’s for Kids have become very popular over the years including Dora and SpongeBob. It only makes sense to have games that are kid and family friendly. There seems to be quite a few to select from at the NickArcade.com site.

People were lining up last night around midnight because Super Smash Bros was released last night. The new Nintendo Wii game is one that has been long awaited. Super Smash Bros Brawl is the sequel to the Gamecube hit Super Smash Bros Melee.

SSBB features characters from many different games like Mario, Link, and Kirby. The multi-player game has been getting great from reviews from big sites like IGN, which gave it a 9.5 rating. The Wii has been a big hit with many different audiences from young to old. This game will definitely help out with sales of the interactive gaming system.

XboxLive Status Down has created many problems for gamers this holiday season. Many Xbox users have noticed some slowness and even disconnecting from the service in the past couple of weeks.

Xbox Live allows gamers from all over to play multiplayer games and also download content updates. It appears that the support for Xbox Live has been working on getting these bugs fixed. It definitely cannot be good for Microsoft to have issues especially with so many people that subscribe to this service and new users that just got an Xbox 360.

It looks like as of now the XboxLive service is back up and running but we’ll have to see if it’s consistent. Stay tuned for status updates and breaking news on Xbox Live.

WolfQuest Simulation Game

WolfQuest simulation game is now online. The game is created by the Minnesota Zoo. You play the game as a wolf in the popular Yellow Stone National Park.

According to the website Wolfquest.org the game is released this month and will be available on both Mac and Windows PC. Play with others in this online community while learning about survival.

The Wolfquest game is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation. Stay tuned for more details and breaking news on this simulation video game.

Hi-Tech Toys for the holiday season are hitting the shelves. There are so many new electronics that have hit the market in the past few months.

Included in these Hi-Tech Toys are MP3 players, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD players. Prices are starting to drop on many of the Plasma and LCD TV. The big news in the gaming industry is the releases of Guitaro Hero III and Rock Band on Xbox 360 and PS3. Rock Band you have two guitars, a drum kit, and a microphone that all connect to the system. This makes for a very fun and interactive game.

Hitman movie reviews are now appearing in the news and on the web. The Hitman movie is based on the popular series of video games about a hitman – Agent 47.

The reviews for the movie are generally negative. Over at Rotten Tomatoes the movie is showing the percentage of positive reviews at 13% (out of 47 reviews total). In the past few years it has become a popular trend to make movies based on video games. It has also be the trend that the movies are either not of high quality and/or not very welcomed by critics.

The Hitman movie was released November 21, 2007. It stars Timothy Olyphant (Live Free Die Hard).

PS3 Firmware 2.01 Update

PS3 firmware 2.01 update expected to be released in the next few days. Firmware updates usually provide different fixes for issues that have been seen with the gaming consoles.

Rumors about the PS3 Firmware 2.01 Update are that it will fix mainly some stability issues with the console. There are not too many details as of yet if there will be any other fixes attached to this PS3 update.

Deadly Boss Mod 3.01 has been released.

The mod is supposed that add some new cool features to the game as well as provide some fixes for the World of Warcraft 2.3 version.
