The recall comes due to some accusations of animal abuse. The meat is located at a California slaughterhouse the size is just around 143 million pounds.

There have been no health issues or illness linked to the recall yet and authorities are positive that it will be small if any. The meat is supposed to be used for school lunch programs. The recall affects beef from Westland/Hallmark Meat Company.
